Through internships, these women will build outstanding lives by becoming healthy, employed, goal-oriented, well-connected women who no longer depend on government subsidies or crime to survive. The goals of Doll House Ministries: - Provide services such as continuing education, life skills development, life enrichment classes, and Bible studies.
- Provide a safe, structured home base.
- Provide internships where she will learn to run a business, manage a home, become part of a team effort, communicate with compassion, and develop attainable goals.
- Provide access to mentors, peer networks, trauma counseling, and pastoral counseling.
- Provide regular opportunities for community service and community involvement.
- Provide healthy outlets for self-expression and extracurricular activities.
- Provide access to substance abuse supportive services.
- Promote respect, compassion, and a healthy self-image.
- Help break the cycle of poverty, hopelessness and jail.
